One Yoga accredited yoga teacher training course curriculum has been developed over the last 25 years. Our award-winning and renowned Yoga tutors offer you personalised ongoing support during and after your yoga teacher training. Our yoga graduates teach both locally and internationally and have helped to create a global yoga community.
At One Yoga our goal is to support our students to develop their practice through combining both professional training and personal development.
Beginning with posture alignment and breathing practices we nurture our students to find their unique gifts and teaching style.
Teachers graduate with a deep understanding of yoga and an in-depth yoga teacher training practice to share with their students.
Pre-requisites
An interest in yoga, motivation to learn and a commitment to the course.
Course Content
- Asana practice: grounding alignment and strength.
- Pranayama: Breathwork and Pranayama practice.
- Mindfulness, mediation and Yoga Nidra: The practice of mindfulness, meditation and yoga Nidra.
- The anatomy of movement: How we can heal our bodies through the movement of Yoga. How our bodies respond to Yoga practice.
- Teaching practice: Class planning for a variety of student’s needs.
- Yoga Philosophy: The Eight Limbs of Yoga, the sutras and the charkas.
- The Science of Yoga: what happens to the body and brain during yoga practice and mediation.
- Career in Yoga : Advice and guidance on employment and self employment as a Yoga Teacher.
- Yoga postures (asana)
At One yoga we focus firstly and primarily on grounding and alignment, this is the foundation of safe and healing yoga practice.,,,
You will learn how to modify postures and safely adjust students.
- Anatomy of Yoga
These modules are designed to suit all learning styles in a fun and explorative way. We delve in and explore what happens to the body physically, mentally, emotionally and energetically during yoga practice. We explore this through interactive workshops and self-practice.
- Lesson Planning
We have developed our own yoga teaching lesson plans giving you a creative and enjoyable class to build from. We teach you how to sequence and develop your own Yoga classes in whichever teaching style speaks to you most.
- Philosophy
Discover the history and philosophy of yoga through the fascinating tutorials of ancient stories and writings. We will explore prana/energy, the 8 limbs of yoga: the Yamas, the Niyamas, the Asanas, Pranayama. Pratchyahana, Dharana, Dhyana and Samadhi.
- Pranayama
The amazing art of breathing. These practices will immediately improve all aspects of your health and wellbeing.
- Meditation
‘The art of breathing’. Students will learn simple mediation practices that have profound results.
These simple practices will improve all aspects of health. Students will have the opportunity to see the latest scientific
research that proves what the yogis knew for thousands of years,
- Teaching Practice
On graduation the yoga teachers will be able to teach asanas, pranayama, meditation and yoga nidras to help empower all their future students to improve their health and heal themselves.
Teachers will graduate with an accredited Yoga Teacher Training Diploma.
- Anatomy of movement
Each teaching day will be a mini yoga retreat, a time for you to explore and learn all aspects of yoga.
Each weekend will be a mini Yoga Retreat. An opportunity to practice Yoga, to explore the asana. To develop your breath work. To have time to explore and learn all aspects of Yoga.

Option one: £1850 one of payment.
Option two: £350 deposit, £160 per month (10months)
